ALUMNI NEWS
COLUMBIA (SC) ALUMNI CHAPTER The Columbia (SC) Alumni Chapter came together to take their chapter photo for the 2023–2024 fraternal year featuring their 50-year brothers wearing their white jackets. (pictured above) The Columbia (SC) Alumni Chapter Kappa League, led by Chair Brother Milton Wright, have been on the move. First, they attended the SEP Kappa League Conference in Covington, Ga. The conference provided training and leadership workshops along with college tours of Morris Brown College, Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College for Kappa Leaguers throughout the Southeastern Province. They also visited the African American Black Museum in Charleston, SC., attended a fun social outing, and held a formal training session. (pictured top right) The alumni chapter has been active with several community initiatives. The brothers of the chapter came together to keep our highways and neighborhood clean by participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program. (pictured middle right) Brothers of chapter also participate in the Lunch Buddy Mentoring Program at Joseph Keels Elementary School. Every 3rd Thursday of each month, the brothers take time to share a wealth of knowledge to a selected group of 4th and 5th grade male students during lunchtime. The chapter was also honored to sponsor a yearly school supply drive for the students. (pictured bottom right)
