I have yet to receive my letter to Hogwarts, but I don’t let it get to my heart and have booked a trip to London. Because it is here that many locations from the mind of JK Rowling have come to life and where you can retrace the steps of the young wizard.

exciting adventures as you spend a year practicing spells, bottling potions, and even playing quidditch, the most famous wizarding sport, from your broomstick. Admit it, if you’ve read the books or seen the movies, you’ve secretly dreamt of it.
KING´S CROSS STATION - PLATFORM 9 3/4
The starting point of our journey is King’s Cross station. It is here at platform 9 ¾ that young wizard students depart on their voyage with Hogwarts Express from London to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They drive a luggage cart through the magic wall and end up on the platform. In the film, the wall with the characteristic arches between platforms 4 and 5 is used for this purpose. When you continue towards the wall at platforms 9, 10, and 11 on the west side of the station, you can see a luggage cart that ‘disappears’ into the wall near a sign ‘Platform 9 ¾’. There you can have a photo taken equipped with a scarf with the colors of your favorite house.
