my face. We are in an Olympic year, as the Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo this July and August. Mondo is once again the official track surface for the games. We are proud of our 40 year relationship with Mondo. It is the finest surface produced in the world. Period. Mr. Kiefer won a gold medal for the United States in the 1936 Olympics held in Berlin. He was a legendary backstroker. He was always excited when the Summer Olympics were near. It brought back great memories. He often complained about the general lessening of the amateur experience in the Olympics. That being said up until he died, one month shy of his 99th birthday, he still believed the Olympics was the greatest sporting event held on Earth. I agree whole heartedly with him. He will be in my thoughts this summer during the games. Due to COVID-19 outbreak the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games have been postponed for 1 year.
