AnadoluJet started commercial operations as a low-cost Ankara- based airline brand of Turkish Airlines with five Boeing 737-400 aircraft on April 23, 2008. In its first year, AnadoluJet offered reliable, fast, and economical travel to 1.7 million domestic passengers with the motto “Flying for All!” As the capital of Türkiye, Ankara is a hub for domestic flights, providing passengers with transportation opportunities in an extensive flight network connecting every point in Anatolia.
AnadoluJet performed its first international flight from Ankara to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2009 and started domestic flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport. From 2009 to 2019, a total of 100 million passengers were safely transported during a decade-long journey of domestic flights. As of June 2020, international flights at Sabiha Gökçen and Esenboğa Airports were handed over from Turkish Airlines, and AnadoluJet
began operating flights to 42 international destinations.
