Turkish Cargo ranked 43 rd globally in 2003 with a market share of 0.4% on an IATA kilometer/tonnage basis, increased its market share to 0.8%, and climbed ten places to rank 33 rd in 2010. Demonstrating stronger and more stable growth since that time, Turkish Cargo climbed from 22 nd place in 2015 to rank seventh in 2019 in the pre-pandemic period with a market share of 3.8%. The steady rise of Turkish Cargo, the fastest-growing actor in the sector over the last 20 years, did not slow down during the pandemic. Turkish Cargo ranked among the top five air cargo brands globally.

Turkish Cargo carried 123 thousand tons of cargo and mail in 2003 and increased its carried tonnage to 565 thousand tons in 2013 with a CAGR of 16%. In 2018, as a result of fleet and infrastructure investments, as well as its fast-developing network, Turkish Cargo boosted its carried tonnage of cargo and mail to 1.4 million tons with a CAGR of 20%. In 2023, Turkish Cargo climbed to fourth place in global cargo traffic with a 5.2% market share, increasing the amount of cargo carried to 1.7 million tons.
