Equipped with two simulators, Turkish Flight Training Center started flight training in 1994 with the delivery of the first B737-400 simulator. In 1997, the Cabin Training Building was constructed and the first cabin training device (B737-A310-A340 CEET) was delivered. The first B737- 800 NG simulator was commissioned in 1999 and the first A320 simulator in 2006. In 2006, Turkish Airlines was also authorized as a First Aid Training Center and certified trainings started to be provided. The first B777 and A330 simulators were commissioned in 2010 and the second A320 and B737-800 NG simulators in 2011. In 2015, EASA-approved Flight Simulation Training Device Organisation (FSTDO) authorization was obtained, and the number of EASA-approved simulators climbed to ten. In 2018, Turkish Airlines obtained First Aid Instructor Training Center authorization.
