Turkish Opet was established on September 18, 2009 to sell, import, export, distribute, and transport petroleum products, chemicals, lubricants, and paints for all types of aircraft in Türkiye and abroad. The company started actual operations on July 1, 2010. Kuzey Tankercilik A.Ş. and Güney Tankercilik A.Ş. were established on November 1, 2012, as wholly owned subsidiaries of Turkish Opet Aviation Fuels Inc. in order to provide transport of petroleum and petroleum products by sea tankers. Turkish Opet provides “into plane” services with its experienced staff at Istanbul Airport and storage and aircraft fuel supply services at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Turkish Engine Center delivers engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services to customers located in Türkiye and neighboring regions. It was founded on October 10, 2008 as a 49%-51% partnership between Turkish Technic Inc. and Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of United Technologies. Established on a 25,000 m² area at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Turkish Engine Center’s advanced technology, eco-friendly facility has the capability to provide aircraft engine manufacturing and maintenance services to the global aviation industry.
