TURKISH OPET Turkish Opet Aviation Fuels Inc.
Turkish Engine Center, which provides engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to customers in Türkiye and neighboring regions, was established on October 10, 2008 as a 49-51 venture between Turkish Technic and Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of United Technologies. The maintenance center, established on an area of approximately 25,000 m 2 at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, is capable of servicing approximately 200 aircraft engines per year at full capacity with its advanced technology and eco-friendly identity.
Turkish Opet was established on September 18, 2009 to sell, import, export, distribute, and transport petroleum products, chemicals, lubricants, and paints for all types of aircraft in Türkiye and abroad. The company started operations on July 1, 2010. Kuzey Tankercilik A.Ş. and Güney Tankercilik A.Ş. were established on November 1, 2012, as wholly owned subsidiaries of Turkish Opet Aviation Fuels Inc. in order to provide transport of petroleum and petroleum products by sea tankers. Turkish Opet provides into plane services with its experienced staff at Istanbul Airport and storage and aircraft fuel supply services at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
