Turkish Fuel Services, formerly known as İGA Airport Akaryakıt Hizmetleri A.Ş., was established on October 13, 2016. On February 11, 2019, Taya Liman İşletmesi A.Ş. took control of the entire capital shares of the company. Subsequently, during the General Assembly Meeting held on February 21, 2020, Turkish Fuel Services’ capital was increased and the capital shares were equally distributed among Taya Liman İşletmesi A.Ş., Zirve Holding A.Ş., Demirören Akaryakıt Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and Turkish Airlines. TFS operates at Istanbul Airport in the transportation, storage, and supply of the fuel needed by aircraft. With 3.5 million tons of jet fuel sales in 2023, TFS ranks among the leading companies in the sector.
Turkish Technology leads as an R&D company that directs the technological needs of Turkish Airlines and its subsidiaries, and closely follows and works on innovative projects for software and trend technologies such as artificial intelligence, analytics, fintech, cybersecurity, and data-driven transformation in the aviation and air cargo sectors. The company aims to provide end-to-end solutions and support to all technological needs of the aviation industry, primarily Turkish Airlines and its subsidiaries in the Turkish market, and to productize the technologies developed with its R&D power and export them to the world. With 1,454 employees, the company operates from its head office in Istanbul and has offices in different locations including Ankara and Izmir.
