From an airline with a modest fleet of only 65 aircraft two decades ago, Turkish Airlines has transformed into a global carrier. Turkish Airlines is set to conclude 2023 with one of the world’s largest fleets, comprising 435 aircraft.
The Incorporation has achieved significant milestones during its fleet expansion journey, recording its 100 th aircraft in 2006, 200 th in 2012, 300 th in 2016, and 400 th aircraft in early 2023. Going forward, Turkish Airlines will expand its fleet more quickly. Starting out with just five aircraft at its founding, Turkish Airlines aims to culminate its journey with over 800 aircraft in its 100 th year in 2033.
