Turkish Airlines was awarded APEX Diamond status thanks to its exceptional Covid-19 hygiene measures. Turkish Airlines was named as one of the top three global airlines by “Condé Nast Traveler” readers. Turkish Airlines ranked first in the international available seat kilometers (ASK) category among all low-cost carriers (LCCs) and network carriers. On July 29, the Istanbul Airport Main Cargo (SmartIST) building was opened.
