An A310F freighter, A321, and A320 aircraft started operations in the fleet in 2004, followed by A330- 200 aircraft in 2005, and A319 aircraft in 2006. In 2008, the first B777-300ER aircraft were added to the fleet, a major step forward in international transportation of both passengers and cargo. As air cargo transportation gained importance in the world, A330-200F type cargo aircraft, which started operations in 2010, made a significant contribution to the expansion of the cargo network.

In 2010 and 2011, A330-300 and B737-900ER aircraft joined the Turkish Airlines fleet, supporting the expansion of the network in the Americas, Asia, and Africa. In 2013, an order for 212 aircraft was placed, and the first new generation narrow-body passenger aircraft, A321neo and B737MAX, joined the fleet in 2018. In addition, the growth rate in the cargo fleet was maintained with the B777 type cargo aircraft with high carrying capacity, which joined the fleet and started operations in 2017.
