IN-FLIGHT CATERING
Turkish Airlines introduced its in-flight catering service in 1940 by serving candies, lemon drops, butterscotch, and chewing gum. In 2003, expanding catering complimentaries, catering service continued with Uçak Servis Inc. (USAŞ). Turkish Do&Co Inc, a Turkish Airlines’ joint venture, was established for in-flight catering service originating from Türkiye in 2006, laying the foundation for becoming a global brand in the catering industry.
Turkish Airlines renewed its entire in-flight catering concept in 2008 and offered its passengers an unforgettable travel experience. Service equipment in line with the new catering concept was introduced on all routes. A fine dining restaurant service with high- quality products was also launched in Business Class.
