The Economy Class menu concept on domestic flights was changed in 2016. A hot meal was introduced with the newly developed hot sandwich offering. As of the end of 2016, the popular hot sandwich service was also offered on short- range international flights of up to three hours. In 2018, the “Dine on Demand” service in Business Class began offering passengers on intercontinental overnight flights meals at their preferred time.

Turkish Airlines has received many awards for its in-flight catering. Always innovating and improving, Turkish Airlines has taken its in- flight catering service to the next level by launching the “As You Wish” option. Under this offering, Business Class passengers on flights departing from Istanbul with a travel time of more than eight hours can select their meals prior to the flight. In 2023, Turkish Airlines keeps passengers’ catering satisfaction at the highest level by renewing its menus and beverage service on all routes that offer catering, prioritizing world cuisines and local Turkish tastes in line with its new brand identity.
