Turkish Airlines was awarded the “Gold” status by Travel Plus in recognition of its compostable packaging for hygiene kits, blankets, and headphones; toy sets for child passengers and the “Awareness” category on the in-flight entertainment platform Planet, which helps passengers relax. Internet service was actively provided on a total of 150 aircraft, including 94 wide-body and 56 narrow-body aircraft, across the Turkish Airlines fleet. After the removal of aircraft with overhead screens from the fleet, from now on Turkish Airlines passengers can access the in- flight entertainment platform on all aircraft in the Incorporation’s fleet via their personal devices or on seat back screens.
