Saint-Gobain Weber, a construction solutions expert, was tasked with assessing and addressing the external
silicone topcoat, this system provides improved acoustics though noise absorption, reduces condensation and increases the thermal value of the wall.
Curtis Johnston, Application Manager for Saint-Gobain Weber, said, “This system’s thermal properties provide improved energy efficiency—a significant benefit aligned with the building’s sustainability objectives.” Stringent quality assurance measures included pull-out tests to determine optimal fixings and wind loading calculations for added stability. over 100m2, the existing gable wall posed notable challenges, requiring extensive preparatory work. The team used weberend MPR to fill masonry gaps, ensuring a stable surface for application. The installation process was
