Supply and installation of two automatic door operators at Lisburn Free Presbyterian Church was not without its challenges for Doorways. The project required incorporation of full safety sensors and push pads into the design, with an additional free-standing stainless-steel post with push pad added for ease of access. One of the main challenges was dealing with the oversized doors, which required
a suitable solution to ensure effective automation. To maintain a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance aligning with the building design, a bespoke full-length cover was provided. Doorways opted for the Dorma 8250, a solution capable of handling the size and weight of the doors while providing sufficient force for opening and closing. Kenny McBride, Access Control Manager
