Tropical Forest Products produces its own honey in Wales and England as well as importing organic honey and beeswax from Africa.
We’ve been doing this since 1990 and were the first company to bring organic African honey to the UK. This honey comes from small-scale forest beekeepers in Zambia, Ethiopia, and Cameroon, using traditional bark hives. In the UK we tend our hives then extract, pack, and sell the honey to wholesalers and quality retailers. We also source interesting varieties of honey from other beekeepers worldwide, with a focus on quality, flavour, and tradition, as well as supplying honey and beeswax to industrial users specialising in the cosmetics industry.
