How do I get in line for Volcano Bay rides?

All ride lines at Volcano Bay are Virtual Lines. Meaning, there will be no long lines in sight!

The Reef

How does the Virtual Line work at Volcano Bay?

The Reef is a separate leisure pool. At this pool, you have a great view of those who went on the Ko’okiri Body Plunge. The clear tubes of the Body Plunge go through this pool, for all to see the brave sliders. There is also a private waterfall in this pool area.

When entering the park, you will get an electronic wristband called a TapuTapu. Your TapuTapu will keep track of your spot in line after you tap it to the designated attraction virtual queue sign at the ride entrance. As demonstrated in the image below.

Taniwha Tubes

Can I be in more than one ride’s Virtual Line at Volcano Bay?

Taniwha Tubes is a four-slide ride where riders can double up or go solo on one of the four slides. Out of these four slides, there are two blue and two green. The blue slides are the Raki. The green slides are the Tonga. On the Tonga slides, there are tiki statues positioned throughout the course that spray water when you are least expecting it.

No. Your TapuTapu can only count down the time for one ride at a time.

Tot Tiki Reef

Can I make cashless payments with my TapuTapu?

Tot Tiki Reef is for the little ones and is next to Runamukka Reef. Here there are splash slides, a toddler-sized volcano, and tiki fountains. Plus, there are little whale statues that spray water and sing as kids raise and lower their hands. Tot Tiki Reef is a perfect place for babies and toddlers to cool off in a safe and kid-friendly environment.

Does Volcano Bay give free towels?
