they would surface in pairs or small groups, and every time they did, it drew a reaction from everyone nearby. People would stop mid-conversation or pause their walks just to watch. e kids loved it. Every sighting felt new, even though it kept happening over and over again. When we needed a break from the sun, we made our way to some of the local spots that give Captiva its personality. We stopped at Keylime Bistro, which had that relaxed, open-air feel that ts the island perfectly. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for a while, talk about the day, and not feel rushed. Of course, we had to try the key lime pie, and it didn’t disappoint. We also made time for e Bubble Room, which is an experience all on its own. e moment you walk in, you realize it’s not just a restaurant. It’s full of decorations, bright colors, and little details everywhere you look. It feels almost like stepping into a dierent world. e desserts there are just as memorable as the setting, and it ended up being one of those places everyone talked about aerward.
