REPRESENTING ITS LARGEST PROVISION OF IMMERSIVE AND SENSORY SOLUTIONS FOR ONE PROJECT TO DATE, AURORA IMMERSIVE SUPPLIED MULTIPLE CALMING ELEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL… SENSORY & IMMERSIVE EQUIPMENT
Aurora Immersive, a division of Osborne Technologies Ltd, was commissioned to provide an immersive room, purpose-built sensory room featuring immersive elements and a dedicated space for an interactive floor at Ardnashee School & College. ‘Sensory corners’ were also created by setting aside small corner spaces within classrooms to provide relaxing and calming sensory effects for children. As the project progressed, Osborne Technologies’ remit was extended to include design and delivery of fully- padded zones with soft equipment and apparatus for two soft play areas. Craig Kilner, Product Manager for Aurora Immersive, said, “Ensuring that the final goal was not lost during the lengthy period of scoping the build,
designing and then implementing was quite a challenge, as we were first involved in the project back in 2018. “During this time, regular consultation with the staff at Ardnashee was necessary to ensure that the final solution remained true to the initial plans while also adapting to meet current requirements, where possible. “Ardnashee is the largest project in terms of multiple spaces and various
