Deane Public Works Ltd is a multi-award-winning, family-run company which has built a reputation for excellence in civil engineering construction. Founded in 1967 by George and Elizabeth Deane and now run by the family’s next generation Stephen and Janet Deane, the company has grown to employ over 30 direct staff at its scenic headquarters overlooking Lough Erne and hundreds of others indirectly through supply chain and subcontracting activities. As a dynamic company, it strives to achieve construction excellence by consistently exceeding clients’ expectations with innovative and imaginative defect-free solutions that meet their needs in a timely, safe, sustainable and cost-effective way. Recent successful projects completed by Deane Public Works Ltd include the £3.8m DfI-funded Carnroe Weir Rehabilitation Project, new slipway at RNLI Boat Station in Killadeas, Carrick-on-Shannon Boardwalk Public Realm and Marina and Queen’s Quay Foul Berth Reconstruction Belfast. In addition, Deane Public Works is proud to have been appointed to the Northern Ireland Water £1.68bn IF105 Integrated Partnership Frameworks to support delivery

of its strategic Water and Sewage Capital Investment Programme. To date, the company has completed new wastewater treatment works at Tamlaght (Co Fermanagh), Grange (Co Antrim) and Pomeroy (Co Tyrone), as well as a new wastewater pumping station in Waringfield (Co Down). Other divisions under the Deane Public Works umbrella include concrete, aggregate, plant hire, clay waste disposal and recycled concrete and stone, providing quality products and services to the construction industry.
