The current two times champion, the Giant Killer Cilléin Groom from Co Mayo, was seeking to make it a hat trick of wins.
In intense sunshine, a fierce competition of muscle-bursting challenges that went right down to the very final seconds saw Ruairi O’Hagan lift the coveted Finn McCool Trophy and capture the title of newly-crowned CT1 Ireland’s Strongest Man 2025, just ahead of Cilléin Groom in second place and Daniel McElroy in third.
