Roses Jessica Alexander
When I see a rose, I have to hold it in my hands. Petals between my fingertips,
Sweet scents lingering in my breath, I am entranced by its striking red.
The prick of the thorn far outlives the life of the flower, But I don’t care; It’s beautiful now.
