Join Emma and Sophia from Canvas and Cocktails for a fun, creative printmaking camp! Campers will explore different techniques like gelli plate, collograph, linocut, and more, creating unique prints each day. They’ll learn new skills, materials, and tools, all while crafting their own artwork. No experience is needed, and by the end, your child will have a collection of original pieces to take home. Do you have at least a year of experience playing guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, horns, or saxes? Are you a vocalist? Join us for group lessons and ensemble practice, and learn recording techniques, sound checks, and PA systems. Learn core music concepts like songwriting, rhythm, and studio techniques, guided by experienced musicians. By the end, you’ll have recorded your very own track to take home! All skill levels are welcome, and instruments are provided. Perfect for aspiring musicians and future producers alike. Sound Formation Guitar Players $400/W4: $325 W4: June 30-July 3 Entering Grades: 5 6 7 8 9 10 Instructor: Sound Formation Get up to speed with the latest break-through guitar techniques in this unique camp. We’ll get your rhythmic chops, technique, strumming abilities, and melodic playing to the next level, no matter your previous experience. Guitars are provided. Students will practice their 3-D sculpture skills using various media and create a final project, a 1-11⁄2 lb. sculpture to be cast in bronze (expect a 2-week turnaround time). Campers will take home a unique keepsake for their family to enjoy for years. Instructor: David Bailey Learn the notes and chords you need to play many of your favorite songs, old and new. Campers may use their own instrument or borrow a ukulele from the instructor.
