Create your own world, including animals, creepers and your very own LEGO® Minecraft® character! Please note, this is a hands-on program that does not involve playing the game on screens. More than Money $250 W4: June 30-July 3 Entering Grades: 3 4 5 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Instructor: David Scholl More than Money introduces students to financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and to social studies learning objectives that include money-management skills, goods and services, and global markets. Music & Tech Adventure $455 W1: June 9-June 13 Entering Grades: K 1 2 3 W7: July 21-July 25 Instructor: Music 4 Humans Get ready for a music-filled adventure specially designed for curious minds! Each day, young explorers will dive into playful activities with piano, ukulele, drums, and singing, learning about rhythm and sound in fun interactive activities! Kids will get to try out music appreciation, performance, and even a little creation, blending instruments and tech in a way that sparks their imagination. By the end of their journey, W8: July 28-August 1 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. they’ll take home a Certificate of Music to show off their musical discoveries. Instruments provided—just bring the excitement! program! This program gives your student the tools they need to understand mechanical movement through the foundations of simple machines, physics, and engineering design. They will see moving parts up-close as they follow instructions to build various machines, then use the models to develop new design ideas, test out physics concepts, and even play games with their partners and classmates. Whether they are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark their interests! Mega Machine Robotics $335 W6: July 14-July 18 Entering Grades: 2 3 4 5 6 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Instructor: Snapology In Snapology’s Mega Machine Robotics class, your child will create some of their favorite motorized vehicles out of LEGO® bricks. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, pulleys, cranks, and programming as they build trucks, space rovers, helicopters, and much more. Your child is sure to have fun as they build, learn, and play! Minecraft® Movie Flix $315 W5: July 7-July 11 Entering Grades: 2 3 4 5 6 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Instructor: IncrediFlix Inc. Make a Minecraft® Stop Motion MOVIE with your favorite Minecraft® characters! Working in age-appropriate groups, bring Steve, the creepers, and more to life. Students will write, storyboard, create sets out of construction paper, make their Minecraft® blocks, film, animate some cool effects, and do voice-overs! Minifigure Mania $335 W6: July 14-July 18 Entering Grades: K 1 2 3 4 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Instructor: Snapology In Snapology’s Minifigure Mania class, we let your LEGO® brick builder play with our secret stash of minifigures! Not only that, but we really put our minifigures to the test by creating special playgrounds for them, designing unique flying tests, and seeing how well they do on our carefully engineered structures! Join us as we shrink ourselves to minifigure size and explore the world of minifigures! Enter a world of fantasy and adventure in Magical Creatures camp! Throughout the week we will mix potions, discover all sorts of art media, and create projects to delight and intrigue young minds. Whether you love unicorns or prefer dragons, each day will be a new magical adventure, using different materials and supplies from paint, clay, collage, and more! Brand new for 2025: Stop Motion Movie making with your favorite Mario characters. Create a Mario Movie full of fun to save the day, or even be Bowser trying to take over the world!
