Camp participants will explore and role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and how to administer first aid in emergency situations. These future doctors will learn about lung disease, how to perform CPR and Heimlich maneuver, broken bones, hypothermia, how to use a stethoscope, snake bites, discuss the steps to becoming a doctor, and more. Tiny House $330/W4: $265 W4: June 30-July 3 Entering Grades: 3 4 5 W1: June 9-June 13 Entering Grades: 6 7 8 Instructor: Createry Workshop Be an interior designer! In this camp we will plan, design, and create our very own tiny houses! We will begin with a premade dollhouse, then create a design plan to make your home using your own personal style. Each day will focus on a different area of the home, by decorating a room and making furniture and accessories. At the end of the week, your house is show home worthy! Toy Shop $745 W5: July 7-July 11 Entering Grades: K 1 2 3 4 5 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Instructor: Craftsman and Apprentice Forget the big box toy store—this camp is all about creating your own! Makers will design rolling toys, stitch dolls, and invent games using recycled materials. With tools, wood, and plenty of creativity, campers will learn design, craftsmanship, and safety. The week ends with a child- run pop-up market to showcase and sell creations. It’s hands-on fun with a focus on creativity, business, and play! Toy Shop 2.0: Things that Move $745 W7: July 21-July 25 Entering Grades: K 1 2 3 4 5 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Instructor: Craftsman and Apprentice W2: June 16-June 20 W3: June 23-June 27 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. In Things That Move Toy Shop 2.0, makers will design and build toys with moving parts, exploring simple machines like wheels, pulleys, and ramps. Kids with a knack for engineering will create projects like rolling toys, marble runs, and Rube-Goldberg-style Mouse Trap games. They’ll develop skills in design thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and prototyping. The camp culminates in creating and selling their own moving toys in a toy company. Spike Prime Robotics $305 W5: July 7-July 11 Entering Grades: 4 5 6 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Instructor: Kathleen Kirkman In this hands-on robotics camp, we will build and program Spike Prime robots to complete a series of challenges. We will use the LEGO® Robotics competition table to complete obstacles around a theme and build unique robots to tackle each challenge.
