Conquer the great outdoors by mastering survival skills! Students will learn to handle insect and snake bites, poisonous plants, map reading, and compass use. They’ll practice first aid techniques like splint setting, tourniquet use, and water purification. The camp also covers emergency responses to severe weather and wildlife encounters. Prepare for any outdoor challenge with hands-on training in survival techniques! Wildlife Wonders using LEGO® Materials $215 W4: June 30-July 3 Entering Grades: K 1 2 Instructor: Play-Well TEKnologies Design and build your way through the animal kingdom, from sea to safari, using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. With the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor, you’ll recreate diverse habitats while crafting animals in their natural surroundings. Your animal adventure awaits! Prepare for more captivating discoveries as we investigate creepy creatures, learn clever troll tricks, capture a rainbow in a bottle, make instant snow, mix up glowing slime, and conduct lab tests on mystery substances. Wonders of Bugs and Insects $375 W5: July 7-July 11 Entering Grades: K 1 2 3 Instructor: KGS Education Get ready for a week buzzing with excitement as we dive into the fascinating realms of bugs, insects, and other creatures. Through hands-on experiments and activities, our young scientists will unravel the secrets of these tiny marvels and discover why they play a vital role in our ecosystem. Learn about colloids, polymers, solvents, solutions and chemical reactions by making ice cream, slime, crystals, lava and the ultimate bubble recipe.
