above: Drawing review in Croatia with Carmen Corneil below: Carmen Corneil, Cape Chignecto, Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia.
Taking flight, the drawer and the drawn see one another. Imagery can embody experiences and phenomena. Out-of- body perspectives and abstract approximations support the possibility of magic. Acts of drawing connect authors and objects in memorable and sympathetic ways. To share this work admits a blurring of words and lines between the things I have been taught and the things I teach. The work aims to transmit a lasting and heartfelt thanks to Carmen and Elin Corneil. £
