Applying new technologies to important geographical problems, Geography and Geographical Information Science helps us understand human-environment relationships, and how they vary across time and space. Land surveying and map-making have been revolutionised by advanced digital systems which can intelligently acquire, analyse and present geospatial information. If you have a passion for computing, geography or mathematics, and spatial data, this is your course.

This degree will equip you with the expertise to become a geographical information scientist with a solid grasp of key practical, numerical and computational capabilities.
