APPLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES SINGLETON PARK CAMPUS

Applied Medical Sciences explores the science that underpins medicine, giving you an in-depth understanding of how the human body works, what happens when it goes wrong, how we treat disorders, and the potential for novel therapeutics. This course is ideal for future scientists, biotechnology entrepreneurs or if you want to go on to study medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine.

You will have access to state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities including whole- body human dissection. Our approach to learning encourages excellent research and communication skills, incorporating lectures, seminars, practical laboratory sessions and independent learning. During your studies, you will focus on one of three employability strands: Medical Science in Research, Medical Science in Practice (subject to eligibility), or Enterprise and Innovation.
