COMING IN 2026 Investing in Housing, Community, and the Future of CAR As we look ahead to 2026, the Coastal Association of REALTORS® remains committed to meaningful, member-driven initiatives that strengthen our communities and advance our mission. Three exciting initiatives are on the horizon—both rooted in strategic planning, member engagement, and the impactful work of the CAR Charitable Foundation. HomeStart Grant Program Launching in 2026, the HomeStart Grant Program will be a adding a new layer to the CAR Charitable Foundation , made possible through Member Led fundraising events and charitable initiatives such as the Golf Tournament and 2025 Spring Fling, reinforcing the vital connection between member participation, philanthropy, and real community impact. HomeStart Grant Program is designed to provide direct assistance through six (6) $1,000 grants annually , helping to support housing-related needs and promote stability within the communities we serve. These grants will reflect CAR’s ongoing commitment to advocacy, outreach, and strengthening homeownership opportunities on the Eastern Shore. More details regarding eligibility, application guidelines, and grant distribution will be shared and located on our website as the program is finalized. 🧭 2026 Strategic Planning Event CAR will host a Strategic Planning Event February2026, bringing together leadership, members, and stakeholders to chart the future direction of the Association. Guided by member feedback including insights from our annual member survey—this collaborative session will help ensure thoughtful growth, sound governance, and continued value for our membership. Together, these initiatives represent CAR’s commitment to purposeful planning, charitable impact, and member-focused leadership .
