About Us The Medina County Yearling Ranch Horse Show and Sale was formed in 2022. Our goal was to give the youth of Medina County Texas the opportunity to develop an AQHA colt to be shown and sold at our local county stock show. These kids acquired their colts in March as yearlings through a lottery draft and then participated in a 9-month series of mandatory workdays. Lunging, hobbling, trailer loading, picking up feet, and saddling - all skills geared towards building a 2-year colt ready for prospective buyers in January. Friday January 23, 2026 marks our 4th annual show and sale and attached you’ll find our sale catalog. Our show starts at 9:00 AM with the conformation class followed by a showmanship pattern. Our awards and sale starts at 2:00 PM (CST) where all 19 colts in this catalog will be sold in a live auction.
We will accept bids in person, over the internet through www.CCI.LIVE and over the phone. If you think you might place a phone bid, please reach out to us in advance.
