Robert H. "Bob" Chapman Chairman of the Board, Barry-Wehmiller
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Robert H. Chapman, Chairman of the Board of Barry-Wehmiller and a guiding presence for the teams at BW Papersystems and all of Barry-Wehmiller. Bob Chapman was more than a business leader, author, and speaker — he was a relentless optimist who believed that business could be the most powerful force for good in the world, if only it cared about the lives it touched. He measured success not by revenue or acquisitions, but by the way we touch the lives of people. He championed a culture where every team member felt valued, cared for, and an integral part of a shared purpose, which he called Truly Human Leadership. Bob's legacy is one of dignity, meaning, and the enduring belief that human and economic vibrancy can exist in harmony. It lives on in the leaders he inspired and in the lives he shaped across our industry and beyond.
Everybody Matters. That was his life's work, and it will remain his lasting legacy.
