The model features a horizontal an- ilox, plate and impression roller configuration to minimize transmission errors and achieve printing precision. During the ceremony, Huaxin, Meikei and Dinghui signed orders for new flexo presses. Among them, Meikei has already installed seven Hyde flexo presses. Chinese flexographic press manufacturer Hyde has offi- cially moved into a new production facility in Guangzhou, marking the occasion with a grand opening ceremony attended by around 150 guests from printing companies, suppliers and industry media. The new plant spans 12,000 square meters and em- ploys more than 60 staff. Founded in 2001, Hyde has expanded the business from a component supplier to a press manufacturer. In 2016, Hyde launched its first flexographic press for the la- bel industry. Its product lineup now includes the i3S, i5S, i5S Pro, i6S series and i6S hybrid (in coordination with Aro- jet, a UV inkjet press supplier), covering the labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons markets. Drive Technologies Hyde has built four core technological models: modu- lar design, ultra-short paper paths, intelligent control and high reliability. Its technology can integrate with gravure, screen printing and other printing modules. The company integrates drive technologies from Koll- morgen, Heidenhain and Siemens. Hyde has also part- nered with Luster to develop China’s first mature CCD visual registration system, enabling in-line inspection for flexographic presses.
