ANNUAL VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE The department again held its Annual Open House virtually via Microsoft Teams. Over 100 participants joined, making this the best attended since the event has been held virtually. The Open House promotes networking along with an opportunity to hear from various stakeholders regarding resources and opportunities which may be beneficial to business growth and success. • Participated in American Contract Compliance Association Annual National Training Institute • Participated in 2022 Government Agency Coordination Office Procurement Opportunities Fair • Attended SHARE 2022 • Presented at 2022 DBE Bonding Series • Presented at 'Improving the Economics and Advocacy Efforts of Black Women' at the Community College of Allegheny County • Provided a DBE Certification Webinar for the Urban Redevelopment Authority

SPOTLIGHTING CERTIFIED DBEs In coordination with the marketing team, the Department of Equity & Inclusion created spotlight videos for Hispanic Heritage Month and Black Business Month. The videos featured three certified firms— Cobbler World, Cut’N’Run Studios, and Mon-Win Consulting—showcasing how being DBE Certified has helped their business grow and thrive.
