ABOUT

The Department of Human Resources services and supports Allegheny County's workforce. Employees' collective knowledge, skills, and abilities are what drive the county's success in serving the public interest. To this end, the core functions of the Department include recruitment and staffing management; organizational and employee development; labor and employee relations; diversity and inclusion; recordkeeping; payroll; and compensation and benefits. There are 24 full-time employees who work in the Allegheny County Department of Human Resources. These individuals fulfill many roles: administration, benefits, employee relations, training, payroll, talent acquisition and employment & compensation.
