EMPLOYEE BENEFIT ENHANCEMENTS A strong workplace culture is essential for employees’ overall satisfaction, sense of well-being, productivity, and retention. While there are many ways the county shows employees that they are valued members of the team, one impactful way is through the benefits offered to employees. The Human Resources Department is charged with reviewing current benefit offerings, staying abreast of new and enhanced benefits in the market and analyzing county’s benefits programs and plans to continually provide comprehensive and valuable benefits for employees. As a result of this focus on continuous improvement, over the past year HR added identity theft protection, enhanced the legal services plan, raised the maximum coverage amount on the dental plan, and lowered co-pays for telehealth and virtual doctors’ appointments through our health insurance carriers.
