PICKLEBALL FUN FACTS: Pickleball was invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, a short ferry ride from Seattle, WA. Three dads– Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum, whose kids were bored with their usual summer activities are credited for creating the game. The USAPA estimates there are now over 4,000,000 players actively playing the sport. Quincy Park District offers a total of 18 pickleball courts.
