Asking “What”-Based Questions
It sounds cliché to talk about open-ended versus closed-ended questions and there is no greater question than one that starts with the word “what”. What keeps the responses open and on a level playing field; whereas, if a person were to start with “why”, that type of question could put people unnecessarily on the defensive. This session will teach how to embed “what” into one’s questioning skills when coaching from a leadership perspective.
