Î Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign your coaching target to meet with two peers in the coming week to discuss their strategies for WOW-ing clients. At your next coaching session, the individual should be prepared to discuss the specific strategies that their peers have in place to WOW their clients, what successes their peers have found with different strategies, and the challenges they face when trying to WOW their clients. How do their peers address the challenges they encounter? What effects do they observe on their client relationships as a result of their efforts to WOW them? What strategies and tips can the person you are coaching take away from their conversations with their peers to utilize in their own methods? Î Observational Coaching: Ask the person you are coaching to observe their peers in the coming week as they interact with actual clients. What parts of the interactions are indicators that their peers are going above and beyond for their clients? How effective do they notice that each strategy is in creating a positive experience for those clients?
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
Î Non-Verbal Coaching: As the individual puts forth effort to improve their strategy to WOW their clients, write them a note and leave it at their workstation to share with them the specific actions that they have taken to do so. Let them know the direct impact that their efforts have made on their relationships with their client.
