Consistent Communication
Suggested Strategy: Utilizing Define & Coach, come to a mutual definition for the expectations set for your team. After taking the time to do this step, you can then coach to those specific expectations without miscommunication of the goals your team is to reach. Use this Coaching Map in a group setting.
Suggested Questions:
Î Define & Coach: When I say the phrase consistent communication, what definition comes to your mind? Î Success Imperative: What will you do to successfully implement that definition of consistent communication? Î Third-Party Question: What opportunities could be afforded to the group when you practice consistent communication based on the given definition?
Suggested Activities:
Î Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of the board, write down how the group would describe their current level of consistent communication. On the right side of the board, write down the ideal description of consistent communication based on the beginning of your conversation. Then, erase the left side of the board and write down the actions that the group gives you that must be taken to reach the description on the right side of the board.
