Î Self-Directed Learning: Assign the employee to come back to your next coaching session with three specific examples of actions they had taken during the week to practice effective forecasting and how do they think those actions specifically led to some form of success? Î Observational Coaching: Ask the employee to observe their peers as they practice forecasting and note any strategies that their peers utilize that are successful for them. They should also note any strategies that they might want to avoid to reach success. How can the employee you are coaching implement the strategies that they observed from their peers into their own forecasting to make it effective and successful?

Î 30-Second Coaching: Take 30 seconds to verbally acknowledge positive efforts made by the individual to work toward the specific goals that you had discussed during your coaching session through effective forecasting.
