Î Journal-Based Coaching: Have the employee write down two benefits they gained during the week while working with this peer-to- peer support and how it can thwart the negative risks from the risk assumption question earlier in your coaching conversations. Have them then summarize their journal entries at the end of the week with how they have noticed a change from before this intervention.

Supplemental Coaching Strategies:

Î Non-Verbal Coaching: Leave your coaching target a hand-written note on their desk when you observe them practicing the skills they sent you in their weekly email. Make sure your note is specific and descriptive.
