Suggested Strategy: Being creative is not always a strong suit for everyone, but sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration. Use Peer-to-Peer Coaching to help the individual you are coaching seek new ideas from others.
Suggested Questions:
Î Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing that you have a multitude of ideas in your arsenal and one representing that you have no ideas other than to be direct, where would you rate yourself in terms of thoughtful and creative ways to thank your clients? Î Self-Actualized Question: What actions do you think we could take together to help you reach a six and gain new ideas for thoughtfully and creatively saying “thank you” to your clients? What outcome do you think it might have on your client relationships?
Suggested Activities:
Î Brainstorming: Work together with the individual to come up with a list of possible ways to thank their clients. Gather supplies and strategies together so that the individual is prepared to utilize these methods. Have them think about how they can utilize these methods in specific situations and where they might be most fitting.
