Suggested Learning Projects:

Î Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign your coaching target to meet with two different peers at some point in the coming week to practice recruiting conversations and compare strategies for recruiting. What practices do their peers have in place that the individual might be able to utilize in their own strategy? What successes have their peers experienced, as well as what do their peers find challenging as they recruit? How closely to the discussed definition of “recruiting” do their peers have their strategy built? Have the individual email you after their peer meetings, copying the peer that they met with on the email, sharing the answers to these questions. Î Self-Directed Learning: Assign your coaching target to come back to your next coaching session with an outlined strategy of how they can implement the definition of recruiting as you had discussed earlier in your coaching session. They should tie in how they believe their new strategy will help them reach their goals from your activity.

Supplemental Coaching Strategies:

Î 30-Second Coaching: As the individual practices the definition of recruiting expectations in their new strategy, take 30 seconds to acknowledge their efforts, sharing the specific actions taken by the individual that you had observed. You should also share with them how their actions are helping to push them closer to reaching their career goals.
