Suggested Learning Projects:
Î Self-Directed Learning: Have your coaching target seek out resources on courage in leadership (you can also share the article below to help them get started). Have them come back to your next coaching session with two or three resources and ask them to be prepared to discuss what they learned about their leadership style through their research and what they can take from the resources they found and put into practice as they strive to become a courageous leader, based on the definition from the beginning of your coaching session. They should then write in a journal three takeaways from the article and how they will utilize those takeaways in their leadership role. Be prepared to discuss the journal entry at your next coaching session.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
Î Self-Directed Learning: An easier way to create both a level of accountability on the part of the person being coached, and a level of sustainability for the person doing the coaching, as they do not have to be present.
