Î Observational Coaching: Ask the employee to observe their peers throughout the week regarding their punctuality. How does their punctuality have an impact on their day? Have them email you by the end of the week with five observations made throughout the week. Î Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign your coaching target to meet with two different peers at some point throughout the week to interview them about their habits relating to punctuality. What do their peers put into practice to make sure they are punctual in their day-to-day activities? What are two takeaways from each conversation that the individual you are coaching can put into practice in their own day?
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
Î Non-Verbal Coaching: Leave the individual you are coaching a hand-written note celebrating effort and improvement made in their punctuality. Be specific as to what actions you have observed and how those actions are having a positive impact.
