Stress Management to Increase Time Management

Suggested Strategy: Work comes with pressure, which motivates you to get things done. However, that stress needs to be managed to work FOR you, not against you. Help your employee discover their stressors and how to manage them to be their most effective and productive selves.

Suggested Questions:

Î Hypothetical Question: Hypothetically, if you had to name two things that stress you out the most regarding planning your day, what would you say and why? Î Self-Actualized: What will you do to successfully integrate stress management techniques into your daily schedule to increase your time management?

Suggested Activities:

Î Define & Coach: Come up with a shared set of stress-management techniques they can use when it comes to dealing with stress to develop their time management. Discuss the importance of understanding what stresses them, how to acknowledge that stress, and ways to cope and disseminate that stress in order to move on. Î Whiteboard Coaching: On the left-hand side of the board, write down how the employee/team describes the way they handle stress and how that relates to their time management. Then, on the right- hand side of the board, have them describe the stress management techniques they can implement and the implications it would have for time management. Then erase the left side then ask them what actions need to be taken so the right side of the board becomes a reality.
