Team Transparency
Suggested Strategy: Use a Risk Question paired with GOAL-Based Coaching to aid the team in building a stronger understanding of why transparency amongst members of the team is vital to the team’s progress and success.
Suggested Questions:
Î Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing 100% transparency in what we are all working o n and our progress and one being that we keep to ourselves regarding what we are accomplishing and working on, where would you rate our team and why? Î Success Imperative: What actions might you need to take to successfully implement transparency with the rest of the team? Î Risk Question: What risks do you think you might mitigate by putting those actions into practice and being completely transparent with the rest of the team on your progress and ideas?
Suggested Activities:
Î GOAL-Based Coaching: What does the employee strive to become Great at? What Opportunities might be afforded to them as a result of becoming great? What Actions must they take related to transparency with the rest of the team to take part in helping the group reach their goals? What will the individuals in the group Love about reaching these goals (this is their emotional or personal attachment to the goal)? Î Brainstorming: After the employee shares their responses with you, work directly with them to set a strategy together for practicing transparency while addressing their goals.
