Î Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign your coaching target to meet with two members of other departments that they might need to trust in situations where they are to hand off tasks or projects. Have them discuss their strategy for follow-up and strong communication during those times. Discuss what they learned and their strategies at your next coaching session.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
Î 30-Second Coaching: Reinforce efforts made by the employee to trust others when things are beyond their control. Take 30 seconds to verbally acknowledge specific actions taken by individuals that strengthen the trust between them and their other teams.
